3 hrs past my sleep time I know.But a busy day. I've decided I won't be trying to barter for the X-Box 360 game BF: Bad Company 2. Besides the oddity of me going for a new game, which was started by the ending of support for multi-player for original X-Box games, there were many reasons. The pluses for though was that it wasn't a bad substitute for Star Wars:Battlefront (first one). Downsides were that it did make me nauseous so I was limited to almost an hour a day or 2 days. But the nice thing was that I could get over it and it wasn't that bad as long as I limited the time in. Major end point though was accessibility on my end which was a big reminder today. Unreliable internet access (though last few days there has been an excuse of heavy construction all around), and unreliable power (as just under 3/4 of this building I'm in has power so things have to be used for really a need basis). That's pretty much it.
Though I knew the reasons before hand.. it was a big reminder when it was actually happening. Today was having a good time with the free demo of BF: BC2 but than the internet conked out as I was doing something helpful with the team I was on. It actually did that twice with 2 different games. Than the power had to be shut down for quite a bit of time / maybe 4 to 5 hours, so not too long. So that was a big reminder that even though I'd be losing my ability to play multi-player on the 360 (which I saved from the trash) it was no excuse to trying to get something so luxerious like a new game. Besides.. I like StarWars : Battlefront better. And maybe I'll be able to play via a free group based in the at UK.
There was a new Firefox update today for the Linux Ubuntu OS platform. I don't know what was in it but it reduced my FarmVille (a Facebook app) time from 30 minutes per 5 farms to a little under 25 minutes. Yeah that's still long for what is just basically 7 physical mouse clicks per farm. But it's still an improvement. So I get what good I can.
Yeah I was really happy with that. Hopefully that will be the case next time I go on the internet tomorrow.
Anyway long day. And I really need to sleep. But I think it was a really good day.
